Time to celebrate!

One last day in this decade for moi. C'est la vie - literally.

The really good news is that I have been informed that upon reaching 50, women receive a significant download of information - how cool is that? Meaning that by the end of tomorrow I will be a whole lot more enlightened, intelligent and wise. I am SO looking forward to that! Anyone jealous yet?

Just think of all the cool info I may choose to share with my very special (and limited) readers - ha!

Something as simple as blue toes can really put a whole new spin on things. Who would have thunk?

My father's handwriting is showing signs of shaking - this scares me more than I can say.


Bought myself a sapphire ring and it makes me happy - thank you and hug to self. (Isn't it pretty???)

It may be time for some new ink. Something to illustrate my never ending love for M & S. Ideas are welcome!

Day One As A Blogger

This is my wallpaper. Ohm...it just sounds peaceful and the pic is quite pretty in my opinion.

Why is this important? It probbaly isn't to many, but for me, it helps to keep me focused on the big picture when all the "small stuff" starts to wiggle into my day-to-day life. In case you like it, it is on page one (like my Day One) of Google images under "Ohm". Maybe it will help you as well.

So...here we are. Men, women, children, animals, plants, weather, planets, stars and moons all constantly circling, whirling, spinning...sometimes in patterns, others not. It's all about the realtionships. Harmony, discord, commonalities, cycles, energy. What do YOU make of it? How do we make sense of love, a child's death, a tsunami, global economy and politics, the amazing smell after a rainstorm, hatred, desires, Starbucks, the beauty of this planet, burbon, age, war, 'isms, sex, tiramisu, frienships...to name a few of today's odd collections of thoughts.

You see, I have much to think about, much to talk about and much to learn.
